The weekend prior to the NAFSA conference in D.C., the leaders of each of the Global Learning Collective partners (Athena Study Abroad, The Asia Institute, Campus b, CEPA and EDU Africa) spent the weekend together in a lovely house in Maryland to do our first year-in-review (we just celebrated our 1st birthday as a Collective!),  as well as to discuss how best to enhance the services we offer as a Collective to the int'l education field, and most importantly, for our five teams to spend quality time together.

Clock Tower Event hosted by the Global Learning Collective at Forum 2019

The five organizational members of the Global Learning Collective hosted a private cocktail reception during The Forum on Education Abroad conference in late March 2019.  The event was held in the 5 top floors of the historic and beautiful Daniels & Fisher (D&F) clock tower in downtown Denver.  Guests mingled throughout the tower, enjoying delicious food and drinks while exploring each of the tower's top 5 stories.  Before leaving, guests were gifted with Mandela Eco Notebooks, that benefit the Mandela School Library project and literacy program in South Africa.
