I have arrived in Dublin, Ireland! It was hard to leave my family and friends back home, but once I got here my nervous/anxiousness went away. Monday afternoon we met with our advisor and she took us on about a three hour walk around the area so she could show us what was around campus. On Tuesday, she took us all around downtown Dublin which was amazing. It is such a beautiful city that is full of shops and pubs! We saw the famous Temple Bar which is a very popular attraction. Grafton Street was one of my favorite places because it has a bunch of stuff to do and there are aspiring musicians playing along the street. We ended our week with a traditional Irish breakfast and a hop on/hop off bus tour of the city where I went on a tour of the Guinness factory that was really interesting, and I would definitely recommend it. The top floor of the factory has a 360 degree view of Dublin which was beautiful. It was a busy week that was full of exploring my new home for the next 3 months, but it was a great week and I am looking forward to starting classes this week!
