Weekend in Budapest

Spent the weekend in Budapest, and fell in love with the city. Spent our first day sightseeing, going over to the Buda side first and seeing the castle and walking across the chain bridge. After making it across the bridge and having an incredible view, we saw the Shoes on Danube which was a beautifully done piece of historical art. We then walked to the Parliament which was a massive building with gorgeous ornament. At night, we ventured to the ruins bars which were nothing like I have ever seen before; just a combination of random art and everyday objects made into something new. On our last day we went to the Szenchenyi thermal baths which was the most relaxing experience. The heat of the baths felt amazing coming from the 30 degree weather outside. After the baths, we walked over to a market nearby getting authentic Hungarian food and ending our trip by seeing the Heroes Square. Overall, was one of my favorite weekends so far; such an incredible experience
