You will study one Spanish language course worth 3-4 credits per session. You also have the option of combining two or three of the summer sessions to progress through multiple language levels and earn up to 12 semester credits. Below is a list of the course offerings and their levels and descriptions. Please check with your home university to assess course equivalency for the language courses offered, as course equivalencies vary among institutions.

|A1||IPSS 101 Elementary Spanish I|
Addresses the same course content and objectives as Spanish 100, but intended for students who have had some study in Spanish.
|A2||IPSS 102 Elementary Spanish II|
Continuation and completion of the program described for A1.
|B1||IPSS 201 Intermediate Spanish I|
Designed to provide the student with an intensive review of basic grammatical structures and to improve on the four skills of reading, writing, speaking and comprehending Spanish, with particular emphasis on building vocabulary and reading skills.
|B2||IPSS 202 Intermediate Spanish II|
A continuation of B1; students continue with review of grammar, and building on the four skills, with particular emphasis on more complex grammatical structures and attention to building writing skills.
|C1||IPSS 345 Advanced Spanish Grammar and Conversation|
Provides student with a greater proficiency in the language; a thorough grammar review stressing difficult points of syntax; written composition, and the practical use of the spoken language in a wide variety of contexts.
