The engaging city of Granada is placed at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of three rivers. The Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace, is in Granada. It is one of the most famous items of the Islamic historical legacy that makes Granada a hot spot among cultural and tourist cities in Spain. Granada is also well-known within Spain due to the prestigious University of Granada and, nowadays, vibrant night-life.
Morocco is a country located in North Africa. It has a rich culture and civilization, which remained mainly indigenous throughout times and the Moroccan cuisine has long been considered as one of the most diversified cuisines in the world.
Lisbon offers students a look at one of the world's top cities. The capital and the largest city of Portugal, Lisbon lies in western Iberian Peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean and the Tagus River. The city provides much culture and many sites for visiting students.
Spain's capital city is the third largest in the European Union. The metropolis provides many activities in which students can participate. While Madrid possesses a modern infrastructure, it has preserved the look and feel of many of its historic neighbourhoods and streets.
This charming hilltop town was declared a World Heritage Site in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage as one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire. Students will find this city's people inviting and the scenery magnificent.
