Florence, Italy

Student Clubs provide a place where people with the same interests can develop and increase their skills, flair and background in a completely new social environment. The school collaborates with a large number of Italian societies and associations in order to realize the full potential of students.

The list of clubs are as follows:

  • Dance Club: Allows students to discover and revitalize traditional and famous dances from the Italian and international traditions.
  • Cinema Club: The aim of the club is to introduce to students a basic overview of the contemporary and historical Italian and European movie scene, comparing and contrasting it to movies from the rest of the world.
  • Photography Club: This club seeks to help students experience and observe the Italian everyday life and culture through a very special and detailed lens. The best photos will be displayed in an exhibition.
  • Writing Club: Being able to immerse yourself in Italian culture and local Florentine life (through events, traditions, shopping, etc.) and then write about it in your own words, with the opportunity to publish your written works in a local publication, is the enriching experience this club provides.
  • Music Club: The club offers students who love to play an instrument the opportunity to participate in evening jam sessions at a historic Florentine venue, famous for its live music. Instruments will be available at the venue for those who do not have their own.
  • Sport Club: The goal of this club is to introduce our students to the local sporting environment and culture through participating in local sport events and organizing contests between students.
  • Volunteer Club: Florence offers several options if you're interested in volunteer and social service opportunities, and you can select the type of association or institution with which you prefer to work.
  • Slow Drink Club: The club will try to help students discover, understand and experience an important and sometimes misunderstood aspect of the everyday Italian life and culture: the art of wine drinking.
  • Singing Club: The main goal of the club is to give everyone the opportunity to sing. Every student can take part in: vocal techniques (voicing, breathing, relaxation and warm up), performing songs, singing in groups and concerts.
  • Theatre Club: This club will provide students with the opportunity to explore the theatrical arts of mime and clowning.
