HOUSING

• Housing is available in student apartments.

The Spanish Steps are within walking distance of the Athena Rome campus.

• Double rooms are included in the program fee (a few single rooms are available at an additional cost on a first-come, first-serve basis.)
• Most apartments have two or three bedrooms, thus four to six students generally share an apartment.
• On average there is a bathroom for every 4 students.
• In each apartment there is a fully-fitted kitchen and a living room.
• Apartments are furnished and equipped with bed linens, basic pots and pans, kitchen utensils, washing machine, TV and towels.
• Although apartments are of the same standard and have similar facilities, no two apartments are alike.
• All the apartments are easily accessible to the Metropolitana and other local public transportation. Apartments are no more than 15-30 minutes from the school.
• Athena recommends students apply early in order to secure the best available accommodations.

FIELD TRIPS (Semesters Only)

Two trips are included in the program package (destinations vary by semester). Possible locations include:

• Venice
• The Alps, Verona and Garda Lake
• French Riviera, Nice, Monte Carlo
• Assisi
• Florence
• Portofino and Cinque Terre
• Capri, Sorrento, and Pompeii
• and more!

STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Students are provided exceptional recreational opportunities within and beyond Rome. These include student clubs, guided visits to historic sites, social activities (dinners at characteristic local restaurants, etc.), seasonal festivals, special events and conferences, field trips, theatre, concerts, and much more.
