2) Scholarships:  Athena offers several different types of scholarships and awards up to $8,000 per student.  We reward students who are willing to make a positive difference in the world by offering a wide range of scholarships that are based not only on academics, but also on service, good-will, and positive global citizenship.

1) Charity:  Athena developed its Students Offering Support (S.O.S.) Program to provide study abroad students with a way to show their appreciation to their host culture for welcoming them during their term abroad. Included in your program package is a donation made in your name to the Athena featured charity of your choice.

Athena enables each student to actively participate in the S.O.S. program by allowing students to decide which global charity they would like to support. There is no cost to you -- just pick a charity recipient and we donate the money!  Through this process, students are involved in the cosmic cycle of goodwill.
