Athena's site visits are intended to introduce university study abroad staff and faculty to its programs, and provide first-hand insight into how Athena facilitates programs abroad. These site visits are intended to provide thorough knowledge about the classroom facilities, housing accommodations, staff, and services available to Athena Study Abroad's study abroad students. Because knowledge is best gained through experience, our site visits are aimed at providing study abroad professionals with the necessary experience in our overseas host sites to best enable them to advise future students on the culture of the host location as well as the content and quality of Athena's programs.
Site visits are led by an Athena staff member, and these programs acquaint university administrators and faculty with cities their students explore while living and studying abroad. You will be able to see the actual housing and university facilities your students use, and meet Athena Resident Directors who work directly with the students.
